Christmas right where I am suppose to be!

I'm sure everyone is asking about how I'm feeling and like I told a great family friend a second mom this is right where I need to be... Don't get me wrong it does suck... But it sucks just as much as any random Wednesday..... Christmas is about the ones you love for get the giving and receiving of gift as fun as that it its all about the love of family and that wont change as we we will be celebrating this perfect holiday in the hospital. My bro and I have never not woken up on Christmas morning together and we wont this year... The honey baked ham will be cooked brought over and it will be an AMAZING Christmas... not to mention my second family here at ST. Joe's!! This is where I need to be to be able to have 50 more Christmas' I think it's an incredibly small price to pay to work at getting my life back!!

So here's an update form what went on this last month.. I met With Dr. Lim at Cedars to see about having the transplant there and get it going... I've met with him before and totally loved him and get no bad feelings I have my own nurse and she is just as great I deal with here more..... My heart wants to be a Cedars my Dad and Brother would be right here and I could see them all the time!! I know though my Dr. who I trust with every inch of me wants me to be in Seattle so Seattle I will go... for a consult and who knows I could get there and just know its the one....

Since the Transplant is about 6-8 weeks out I needed to have a consolidation round of Chemo so I checked in this morning debated and getting my love/hate picc line or go thru an IV the whole time.... I chose the picc line because my veins I'm serious they hate me they hide when the see needles coming at them or they just blow out so my only hope it that the line just last the week I'm on chemo then we will deal with the veins..If I would have waited and had an Iv and it blew its must riskier to have a picc line put in so for now we will be best friends!!!

I started chemo at 11 am and this is a high dose round so I get it at 11 am for 2 hours and 11pm for 2 hours I have a day off and then 12/19 12/21 same thing... So far today no nausea so no complaints!!!

SO please please keep the prayer coming!! Love to you all!!!
And I'm hoping to keep up more on the blog this time if fingers crossed the nasua from last time stays away!!!

Have a very BLESSED CHRISTmas!!!

Home for the Holidays!

Sorry its been so long... I left the hospital a couple days before Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday of all time) We were missing a few key members this year but there is always next year right!? No new news were still waiting for the final results from the biopsy and then we will go from there.. I have a few appointments with different places for the transplant and we will hopefully get that going ASAP!! So I hope that everyone has a great rest of the Holiday season! I know just being home with my great family will be just perfect for me! Thanks for all the prayers!

Update... well kind of...

Hey everyone!

Still just sitting here waiting for my counts to slowly come up!! And slowwwww is how its going! I had an allergic reaction last week that has stayed with me for quite a few days now and I think we just about have it under control my face (yes my face) has started to look much better than Kwazi Mottos sister that I was looking like for too long! They have changed most of my meds that I was on for the whole entire time I was here the last time that's what is so weird but hey Im just trying to keep it interesting in here!!!

I am feeling absolutely GREAT!! Just ready to get outta here ASAP!! But who wouldn't!??

We got some news that if I go into remission this time around that I might not have to do the two consolidation rounds here and we can get the transplant going.... Now that's is referrals and insurance and where we decide I will have the transplant and if the donor is ready or my stem cells is the way to go (which is another thing we will be working on this week) So that is AMAZING news because the may or may not take away a couple months if this process... now if it takes too long then I would have another round here at St Joes to clean up left over cells or keep me in remission but like I have said before its all just a waiting game and we will take as it comes!!

Sorry if I don't text call or email back... I am feeling really good and love getting all of the messages its just a lot to write back to!!!
So Thank you everyone and keep praying please! :-)

update

So I thought I updated this the other night i must never hit send :/ Anyways it was not a long one!! This round of chemo ended today thank goodness!! It was horrible nothing like before!!! I was sick the whole time!!! Way different for being the same intro round I had the first time! Tomorrow I start the neuprogen shots to bring my counts back up! I started getting fever last night not sure why.... probably just from my counts so low...once again horrible! The Plan is to hopefully get outta here and on my break in between rounds head back to Cedars and up to Seattle to explore my options in a transplant...whether to us my own stem cells or see how close of a match we can get! So sorry For the long wait on an update I wonder where is went!! Keep praying! <3

Here we go again!

So the first time you hear you have cancer its shocking to say the least and there is not much time to even comprehend whats next you just kinda roll with the punches. The second time its a huge punch in the stomach.... So hear I am back in the hospital... Long story short I had some abnormal lab results two weeks ago that looked more along the lines of a viral infection and my Mom was really sick and I felt fine (still feel fine) and so we just decided to re-check again in two weeks (last Monday) So on Friday my Dr. called me and said that my blood work showed the Blasts (cancer cells) and that I would need to check into the hospital to have a bone marrow biopsy.... He gave me the weekend and we decided on Monday morning I would check in. So I took full advantage of my last weekend for a couple months and I had a great weekend with so of the best friends a girl could ask for... I was admitted at about 6 am yesterday had the biopsy and now we just wait... Since we have no idea what is really going on... A couple positive things are since I went into remission so easily last time I will more than like just receive the same rounds of chemo I did last time since well they worked and kept me in remission for about 16 months and a great 16 months I might add! Secondly is because I was in remission for 16 months they don't imagine it being as aggressive as the first time... So I do the 3 rounds of Chemo and then head around to couple of different transplant programs and get started on a bone marrow transplant! I really don't have any information and probably wont for a few more days so until then were just sitting here!! So please keep myself and family in your prayers!!!
